NIPHARM is a group of 3 Independent Community Pharmacies providing a first class service across Belfast. We're always thinking ahead. We provide NHS Pharmacy Services including one off and repeat prescriptions, health advice along with private services such as Confidential Emergency Contraception, Smoking Cessation and Travel Vaccinations. Challenge/Opportunity
Adding Value
Nipharm required a brand identity to encompass all 3 locations whilst in the middle of a full name change. Each location had its own name: Botanic Pharmacy, Lowwood Pharmacy and McGregor Chemist. The owner wanted more consistency across the family of stores and Nipharm was born, a play on Northern Ireland Pharmacy.
Process
Bespoke Design
We met with the owner many times and had a number of site visits to get to grips with the offering and service in order to truthfully deliver a brand that represented them correctly. The design team created 3 unique concepts for Nipharm exploring different ways of answering the brief and telling the story.
Solution
Brand Identity
The new ident is s soft, pharmaceutical brand mark with a subtle plus symbol incorporated throughout the overall branding and materials. The green and grey palette provide a bold solution for the business without making it overly sterile. We use typography and art direction to bring in the family run business elements. The brand is a fantastic addition to the business and truthfully communicates their offering.
